First (1st) Independent Brigade

    The First (1st) Independent Brigade is an American Civil War Living History and Reenacting Group located in and around Augusta, Georgia, that is dedicated to the preservation of the memory of all American Soldiers of the American Civil War War, from 1860 to 1866.

    The First (1st) Independent Brigade portrays the Confederate 38th and 48th Georgia Volunteer Infantry Regiment's. We also proudly portray a Federal Impression of Company B of the 121st Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
